Brian Cohen started building in 1973, since when he has established an international reputation. His output extends to over five hundred instruments to date.
Many of the world's top performers and recording artists use instruments made by Brian Cohen. Each type of instrument is carefully researched, and constructed in the traditional manner, using materials and techniques which have remained unchanged for centuries, with meticulous attention to detail, while maintaining the original spirit of freedom found in many original instruments. In this way, Brian Cohen's instruments are authentic, without being copies of any one particular model.
